Springing into Good Health April 26, 2012

The spring health fair is scheduled for Thursday, April 26 at the Life Enrichment Center. The day will begin with breakfast at 8 a.m. followed by a morning filled with health screenings, multiple class sessions, and opportunities to connect with various health service agencies from the community. Lunch will be served at noon and drawings for door prizes will take place at the conclusion of the meal.

Available screenings will include:

bone density
cholesterol & blood pressure
hemoglobin & blood sugar
DermaScan/skin cancer screening
vision testing
Mammograms will be available on site via the Jewish Hospital mobile unit by appointment only on a separate day: May 3, 2012. To set up a May 3rd mammogram appointment call:513-686-3300
Appointments can be made for the annual National Kidney Foundation KEEP Screening which will be hosted at the LEC on August 16, 2012

Class sessions &/or screenings presented by Wright State University & Sinclair Nursing Students, Public Health – Dayton & Montgomery County, Academy Health Services, Ohio State Extension and Premier Community Health.
