Paper Goods, Food, Volunteers, OH MY!!
Recently members of the First Christian Church of Huber Heights had a day of service and served the LEC in two specific ways. One group held a food drive at their local Kroger store (see the fabulous results pictured left). Another group (pictured below) worked in the LEC Bike Shoppe. The group at the LEC made great progress in preparing classroom space for our new Safety Village programs.
The variety of activities and opportunities at the Life Enrichment Center are aimed at meeting the needs of individuals and families that are in want of a little extra care and compassion. By meeting many of these needs, the entire community is impacted in a positive way. This mission is only accomplished through multiple gifts of time from a great many volunteers and through regular donations which range from a can of food to monetary support. Every gift is appreciated and utilized!

The LEC partners with several churches and organizations across the Miami Valley. Individuals or groups serve in a variety of ways (see our support page) and with varying degrees of time commitments. First Christian Church of Huber Heights has become increasingly involved in the ministry of the LEC over the past few years with events like the Children’s Christmas Party and though holding many needed food drives. They also often have a group of volunteers willing to help get a project moved along and individuals who are currently serving as regular volunteers.
THANK YOU to all of our volunteers and supporters and a special shout out to FCC of HH!!
