The LEC ministry of food encompasses the meeting of our clients need for physical nourishment in order that we might have the opportunity to assist with their spiritual, emotional and educational needs. We offer a hot meal prepared in our own kitchen and served in our own dining room dedicated to providing a warm and comfortable place for our clients to enjoy food as well as fellowship. In addition, after the class time we distribute bags of groceries to our clients as they leave.



Through numerous organizations that support the mission of the LEC, we provide many hundreds of meals and bags of groceries each week. On a yearly basis the LEC receives, as well as distributes, more than $1,500,000 of food to those in need. Dole, Gordon Food Service, Presto, SuperValu, and Bob Evans Distribution Center are some of the many organizations that help with food donations. More than 65 other organizations benefit from the LEC by having access to needed food and our volunteer services.
