Kids In New Directions

Kids in New Directions (KIND) is a faith-based youth program located in Dayton. KIND began 21 years ago to provide outreach to at-risk, underserved children of Dayton. KIND provides services to children of all faiths from ages 4-17.

We provide structured programs in academics, life skills, Christian education, and health/exercise. We collaborate with a number of organizations to improve the health and academic achievement of our children. Our partners include All Kids Can Learn, Ohio State Extended Food Program, Boonshoft Museum, K-12 Gallery, and SMART. The various partnerships provide the youth with “best-in-class” services.

Mission Statement

Taking kids in new directions by nurturing the mind, body and spirit of the children living in East Dayton. This is done by sharing the love of Christ with them, teaching them to love one another, providing nutritious meals, mentoring, guidance and opportunity. We will attempt to do this by instilling in them values and goals that will map a new direction for them to follow and by setting an example of how to live a Christian life by being there when they need someone to talk to and care for them with an open heart and mind.

Vision Statement
To impact the life’s of children in Montgomery County. Sharing the love of Christ with them and teaching them to love one another.
