GED Preparation

The General Equivalency Diploma (GED) is earned by passing a 4-subject test at an approved testing center.

The Life Enrichment Center has helped to restore the confidence and potential of many individuals through the GED Prep Program. Through group and one-on-one attention, the Life Enrichment Center GED teachers pick up where the student left off in the scholastic system, and guides them to move forward into the unique desires and calling for their life. Upon completion of the Life Enrichment Center GED Prep curriculum and then passing the GED exam, students receive the State of Ohio High School Equivalency Certificate. We at the Life Enrichment Center consider it  a blessing to help students reach their goals.

Our GED prep classes at the Life Enrichment Center are designed to get individuals ready to take the GED test with success. The GED prep class takes place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Students are expected to attend all three days. This allows all participants to take advantage of the hot breakfast served in the building at 9 a.m. before class. Childcare is NOT available. The class is designed for adults who have not completed their high school diploma and want or need to earn a GED. Class sessions begin each September and run through May.

The GED Prep class has a rolling enrollment process.  New students are always welcome!

GED fall classes will resume with placement testing on August 26, 2014.

NEW students:  plan on taking pre-tests your first day.  Please arrive early.
