Leading and managing a nonprofit organization is a challenging endeavor. As the executive director, board member, church leader or member of the management team, you’re continually striving to take your organization to the next level. Yet obstacles keep getting in the way. In fact, the challenges you and your organization face may, at times, seem endless.

The affordable programs of the Life Enrichment Center’s Leadership Development Institute are designed to help nonprofit professionals, churches and volunteers improve their interpersonal, management, and leadership skills to better support their agencies in delivering their missions.

Leaders+ Cohort Forming NOW

Leaders + is intended to serve those individuals filling upper level or executive level roles or aspiring to fill those roles, primarily within the non-profit community.

This cohort style program will allow leaders to engage in activities that challenge their leadership behaviors and produce new perspectives and behavioral change to their leadership style. The program will lay a foundation of servant leadership and weave that theme through the sessions. In doing so, assessments will be utilized for participants to conduct self-examination about EQ and Strengths Based leadership. Then participants will be challenged about how this information can be used to lead those individuals around them and their organization as a whole. Finally, throughout the sessions, you will be challenged to create a personalized leadership development plan and culminate the Leaders+ Program with a one-on-one session with LDI Leadership.

All sessions will be held at the new Leadership Development Institute, 3rd floor of the Life Enrichment Center, 425 N. Findlay St., Dayton 45404.  Questions? Contact Andrew Wonders at andrewwonders@cedarville.edu or 937.751.2840

A comment from our first cohort:

“The sessions strategically built upon one another creating a well-rounded overall program that culminated in an executable Leadership Development Plan that can be easily applied both personally and professionally.  Speakers delivered content, concepts, and assessments that were thought-provoking and cutting edge, while being extremely relevant to myself as a leader, but also to our nonprofit business development and strategic planning.  Not only did the course offer professional growth for myself as an attendee, but provided multiple tools to take back to our team.  Thank you to the Leadership Development Institute of the Life Enrichment Center for offering this program.  Participants will absolutely see a return on investment!” – Lori Halley, Director of Marketing and Development, Artemis Center
