Congratulations to Pastor Fritz Merkes, August’s Volunteer of the Month 
Our August Volunteer of the Month, Fritz Merkes, has been a great contribution to the LEC community over the years. Pastor of Community United Methodist Church Riverside, Fritz is also a member of our Bible Study Team, where he often performs worship for our LEC faithful. We’re very thankful for his commitment and willingness to be of service to others and to provide words of faith in times of need.
“Pastor Fritz is a charismatic and God-fearing soldier for God. He has been a dedicated Bible Study teacher at the LEC and our neighbors look forward to spending time with him each Wednesday morning. I personally appreciate his wisdom, prayers, and support for LEC’s programs and mission. He has a heart for God’s people and is always willing to share a kind word, take time to pray, and share God’s word with anyone. He is an avid supporter and friend of LEC’s senior programs as well. Our seniors adore him and want to spend individual time with him each time they see him.
